How to reach the Palace of Versailles?
RER C
You can reach the Palace of Versailles from Paris with the RER C line. It is located at walking distance from Versailles Château Rive Gauche station.
As the Palace of Versailles is located in fare zone 4, outside Paris, the standard T+ metro ticket is not valid for this journey. If your departure point is within Paris, you will have to buy a ticket from Paris to Versailles Château Rive Gauche which costs €3,55. You can buy the ticket in any metro/RER station.
